St. Albans VT – February 3, 2022 – Kittell, Branagan, and Sargent (KBS) is pleased to announce the promotions of Robin Barnett to Shareholder, Timothy Streeter to Principal, and William Keyser to Principal effective January 1, 2022.
Robin joined KBS in 1999 as a Staff Accountant, earning her CPA designation in 2000, and was promoted to Principal in 2020. She provides audit, tax, and business advisory services to housing developments, government entities, pension plans, and nonprofits. As a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience working in the accounting profession, Robin has extensive experience helping business owners address various issues, including estate, trust, and gift tax planning. Robin also serves as the quality control officer at KBS. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the firm meets all standards, adheres to all rules, and represents clients with the utmost integrity.
Over the years, Robin held several roles for the Champlain Housing Trust, including serving as the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. She was also a Board member from January 2014 through December 2020. Robin’s community involvement also includes serving as the Treasurer and Finance Chair for the Burlington Business and Professional Women.
KBS celebrates Robin’s promotion to Shareholder as a milestone, being the first female Shareholder in the firm.
Tim joined KBS in 1996 as a Senior Accountant. He provides tax and business advisory services to clients in the manufacturing, wholesale, retail industries, and nonprofit and fiduciary arenas. Tim has helped clients overcome industry and economic challenges, comply with complex regulations, and develop tailored plans that build generational wealth for over thirty years. His experience and expertise include succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, gifting strategies, tax planning and analysis, research and development, and IRS representation.
Bill joined KBS in 2007 as a staff accountant. He provides tax, audit, review, compilation, and business advisory services to construction companies, electric utilities, nursing homes, and municipalities. Working in the profession for more than a decade, Bill specializes in helping clients identify opportunities to expand their business operations while developing strategies to mitigate risk. He has extensive experience conducting business valuations, identifying grant opportunities, and staying up to date on the latest tax and accounting legislation.
