St. Albans, VT – January 2, 2025 – Kittell, Branagan, and Sargent (KBS) is proud to announce the promotion of William “Bill” Keyser, CPA, to Shareholder effective January 1, 2025.
Bill joined KBS in 2007 and has been integral to the firm’s success over the past two decades. He brings extensive expertise in tax, audit, and consulting, with a focus on supporting businesses in the construction, electric utilities, nursing home, and municipal sectors. He also possesses specialized knowledge in preparing Medicaid and Medicare cost reports.
A Saint Michael’s College graduate, Bill has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business. He earned his certified public accounting designation in 2011.

Bill’s passion for accounting began in his teenage years, and his enthusiasm for the profession only grew. During his time at KBS, Bill has built strong relationships with local business owners, helping them overcome challenges and grow their businesses, directly contributing to Vermont’s economic development.
In addition to his professional excellence, Bill is deeply involved in the community. He served on the junior board for the Vermont Wish Project, part of Make-A-Wish. He is also actively involved with the Association of General Contractors of Vermont, participating in various community events.
